1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using AfriTalent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Use of the platform
AfriTalent provides a marketplace connecting African tech professionals with employers. You agree to use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profiles. Employers must be legitimate businesses with genuine job openings. Job seekers must provide accurate information about their skills and experience.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate our terms.
4. Employer responsibilities
Employers who post jobs on AfriTalent represent that they are authorized to post such positions and that the job listings are accurate and not misleading. Employers must not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other protected characteristic. Employers on free plans may post up to 1 active job listing at a time.
5. Payment terms
Paid plans are billed monthly or per posting as selected. All payments are processed securely. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if no applications have been received. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and will remain active until the end of the billing period.
6. Intellectual property
AfriTalent and its content, features, and functionality are owned by AfriTalent and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you post to our platform but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it as part of providing our services.
7. Limitation of liability
AfriTalent is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or legality of job listings posted by employers, or for the accuracy of information provided by job seekers. We do not guarantee employment or hiring outcomes. Our liability is limited to the amount paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on our platform. Continued use of AfriTalent after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
